I specialise in working with anxiety, anger, abuse, ADHD, autism, grief, family relationships and others.
Are you looking for support for yourself or your child? I am here to help. I am here to help. My name is Lucia and I work with clients of all ages. I understand that being able to name the issue or the goal can be challenging. We often don’t know how we feel and this is even more true for children who are learning to navigate their own wellbeing and the world around them. That is why I work with clients’ needs, even unspoken ones, using various techniques from talking to creative approaches, which can help us understand ourselves and overcome challenges whilst building resilience and confidence.

Hi, I am Joshua, a professional counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I understand how daunting it can feel to look for a counsellor and to work out whether someone will feel like the right fit. My aim is to offer a calm, transparent, and supportive starting point, so you have a clear sense of how I work and what you can expect. My approach is relational and integrative, with the therapeutic relationship at the centre of meaningful change. I work in a way that recognises how our experiences are held not only in our thoughts, but also in our bodies and in our patterns of relating to others.

I also offer ADHD Coaching: please enquire for more details.
If you are going through a life change, struggling with relationships, or questioning your identity, I offer a supportive space, free of judgement, to explore your experiences and next steps. I believe there’s no "one size fits all" way of doing therapy, so I take an integrative approach to tailor our sessions to you. This could mean person-centered counselling where you bring in an issue each week, coaching strategies to develop coping skills, or creative methods to explore confusing feelings. I aim to be flexible to best support your personal growth, and therapy goals.

You might look capable on the outside, but inside you feel everything: the shift in someone’s tone, the tension in a room, the tiny criticism no one else remembers. You overthink, people-please, hold your emotions in, then wonder why your body feels anxious, exhausted, tense or shut down. My work helps you understand what your nervous system has been carrying, loosen the protective patterns, and begin living from your body again.

I understand that for some people starting therapy may feel daunting. I am interested in building a strong, supportive relationship. My style is warm, genuine, non-judgemental and hopeful. I strongly believe in hope, you may come to therapy feeling ‘hopeless’, if you do, I believe my role is to carry hope, until you are ready to do so yourself. I am interested in people’s stories and finding meaning and making sense of patterns and repetitive unhelpful behaviour. I will encourage self-kindness and quietening internal harsh voices. I may challenge false beliefs about yourself.

I also bring over 20 years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals, specialising in ADHD and autism coaching (both pre and post diagnosis).
Hi, I’m Cat, a registered therapist with over 15-years of experience supporting people to un-hook from the difficult thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are holding them back so they can live the life they want. Perhaps you've lost your way. You feel scared, stuck or overwhelmed by anxiety and self-doubt. Everyone around you says you have so much to offer, but you’ve lost that spark of belief and don’t know how to pull yourself out of this rut. You might have tried other therapists before, but find that nothing out there seems quite right. Well, with a solution-focused approach akin to life coaching, that's where I come in!

I have 25 years of therapeutic experience. I work Online with Adults and Couples based in the UK. I specialise in working with autistic & neurodivergent people. I provide an accessible & compassionate service enabling people to learn about themselves and to address what is difficult in their lives. If we have been insufficiently understood and accepted we develop ways of being and doing that do not support our well being. With an understanding, trusted therapist we can begin to make sense of who we are, how we are and what has happened to us in our lives. We can be truer to ourselves and live with more confidence, ease and freedom.

I have undertaken further training in Understanding ADHD & achieved the Level 2 qualification Understanding Autism
Hi, I'm Stephanie, and I'd like to help you experience a more fulfilling life. At the moment, there is so much emphasis and pressure on people to achieve and be productive every day, to strive towards visible high standards constantly, to the point of exhaustion. Are you highly critical of yourself? Do you find yourself unable to try new things in case you fail? Do you focus on ways to improve things about yourself that other people can see & validate - your appearance, your body shape, your job, studies and even hobbies? Do you find yourself unable to switch off and relax? Expect things of yourself that you never would of others?

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
