Many things throughout life will cause us distress and make us question how we move forward; loss, bereavement, relationship break down, stress to name a few.
I aim to be someone who will sit with you in your pain and hurt and come alongside you in beginning to make sense of everything that you are going through. I work with compassion, at your pace, without judgement. I am not here to advise you, but with empathy I will work hard to help you to reconnect with and empower yourself.

Mental health challenges, men's issues and relationship difficulties are far more common than you might think.
I am a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist specialising in anxiety, depression, ADHD and couples therapy. In psychotherapy sessions I provide a confidential setting that encourages you to reflect on your journey. We will explore the feelings, emotions and impact significant events have had on the way you experience day-to-day life. We will work through your thought process moving towards the version of you that you've always wanted to be. Who is that person? Are they confident in themselves? And, do they allow themselves to smile, laugh and be happy?

Are you unsure about the future of a relationship?
My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is relational, as in, I explore with my clients their relationship patterns and difficulties in order to make sense of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Often times when we are in distress, it can be linked to a challenging relationship, a breakdown, or to the inability to connect with others.

I work with young people, individuals and adults who are dealing with relationship trauma.
Have you lost yourself in your mid-20s or 30s? Are you struggling to balance your career, family, relationships and personal identity? Let’s talk about finding your true self. If you're currently asking yourself, "Who am I?" or "What is my purpose?" Or you're navigating a new chapter of life, away from the comforts of family and friends—the very network that shaped your 20s. It’s common to feel like you’re caught in a rut, lacking meaningful progress, and it may be time to embrace the drastic change you’ve been craving. If you're sensing it's time for a significant identity shift and yearning to rediscover your true self.

People with whom I have worked, have said that they find me to be friendly, approachable and supportive, helping them to develop a different relationship with the issues they have come to therapy to think about.
No question is too big or small to bring to therapy. Perhaps you have a sense that something in your life isn’t feeling quite right and would like to make sense of this, or perhaps you are struggling with issues within relationships with loved ones and would like for these to improve. It may be that you have been struggling with low mood, depression or anxiety and have taken the first step of seeking support. As a Systemic Psychotherapist, I work with Families, Couples and Individuals. I work in a way which is collaborative, recognising and drawing upon people’s strengths.

Relationship Issues Counsellors
While the need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
