Many of the people I work with describe anxiety, stress, anger, low motivation, or a general sense of feeling lost.
I support adults and young people 11+ using an integrative, attachment‑informed approach. I help you understand your emotions, patterns, and reactions by slowing things down and exploring what’s beneath the surface. My calm, steady style offers a non‑judgmental space where you can show up as you are and begin building clarity and confidence.

Feeling anxious, low, or overwhelmed? Talking therapy helps, but some stress lives deeper in the body. Breathwork is a powerful, science-backed way to release stored tension and regulate your nervous system, for healing that starts from within.

Hi, my name is Hope. I know, a pretty good name for a therapist! I am an Integrative Psychotherapist. My aim and approach in therapy is to help you find your own path to the life you wish to live. We are all uniquely different and have different reactions to life and life events. I can help you work through some things you might find difficult. For example: Anxiety; Depression; Trauma; Relationship Issues. In order to heal and progress, we must first understand our emotions, what they are and where they come from. From here can make decisions to do something different, to break the patterns that no longer serve us in our life.

I believe everyone should have the opportunity to try therapy and have space to work on things that may be holding them back, causing difficulties or affecting daily life. We all have a story, and therapy offers that opportunity to tell your story in a safe, comfortable, non-judgemental environment, confidentially. As an integrative counsellor I approach each client, working with the person as a whole, using a variety of theoretical approaches based on what comes up, what feels comfortable and which approaches help you to progress in your journey building understanding and self acceptance. We all deserve to be heard.

There are times when life feels harder than it should, and it can be difficult to know what to do next. You might be a parent worried about your child and unsure how best to support them. Or perhaps you’ve started to notice the root of some unhealthy patterns in your own life but feel stuck about what to do with that insight. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious or simply need a safe place to talk. Whatever brings you here, this is a space without judgement where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.

Hi I'm Naomi, welcome to my page. I understand that making a decision to enter counselling whether for the first time or the 100th time can be a daunting task, so I ensure I centre my clients needs during their sessions, so they feel a sense of autonomy. I have experience of working with a range of clients so my aim is always to provide a warm and non judgmental space for my clients to navigate their concerns, to help reveal a sense of clarity along with building up 'tools' to help them in the present and the future.

Many of us grow up carrying emotional burdens that we were never taught how to process. Over time, this can show up as anxiety, self-criticism, emotional overwhelm, or difficulties in our closest relationships.

I have previously worked in forensic services and am happy to take clients with anger issues or forensic considerations.
Hi there! I am a Clinical Psychologist with 20 years experience in mental healthcare. Offering a range of evidence based therapies to work with complex emotional needs, my clients have often had adverse experiences such as trauma, neglect or abuse and may be experiencing depression, anxiety, low self worth, intense emotionality or relational difficulties. I see people for both longer term and time limited therapy. I work well with people who experience shame around their issues, are anxious about therapy or who have found previous therapy unhelpful. I also provide supervision and training to other psychologists and institutions.

How long does therapy take for anger management?

Treatment duration depends on the person’s specific challenges and circumstances. There are treatments for anger problems that are shorter and more goal-oriented, like Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which can last weeks to months. Others, like Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) may last between six months and a year, while a more intensive treatment, like psychodynamic therapy, is open-ended, and clients may see their therapist for a year or longer.

How do you know if you need therapy for anger management?

Everyone gets mad from time to time. But when angry outbursts become frequent and cause damage to relationships, whether at home or in the office, it may be a good time to look into therapy. A therapist can assess where a client’s anger may be coming from, suggest strategies for averting angry outbursts, and help a client create a plan to become a calmer version of themselves.

Is there medication for anger management?

Medications do exist that help people mitigate the feeling of anger, but these are reserved for people with anger-related psychiatric disorders, such as intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or in some cases borderline personality disorder. In these cases, antidepressant medications may be prescribed to help with the client’s symptoms. In most cases of anger management, however, talk therapy is the recommended treatment, along with lifestyle changes where relevant.

What’s the best way to encourage someone to seek help for anger issues?

It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
