MYRESET Counselling was named after a client who said counselling was his “reset button”. I am here to offer support to children, young people and adults who have experience of living with the impact of trauma and various types of abuse. My experience includes working with ; Separation and loss, attachment needs, depression, anger, identifying the underlying thoughts in relation to self-harm and cultural identity work . I enjoy seeing people move towards achieving the changes they identify for themselves. I look forward to hearing from you.
My specialism is working with children in care or care leaver adults as a counsellor. I have experience of working with children and carers, individual adults and children and group work. Sessions offered inc loss, attachment, domestic abuse and emotional wellbeing. Creative and or talking approaches are available with the client’s best interests at heart.
I am open to and experienced in working with a wide age range of people from small children to adults. It is fulfilling to go on the persons journey alongside them and see changes occur sometimes in very small but significant stages, to see their inner resilience grow as they face new challenges in different ways.
