Everyone is individual and your lifetime and childhood experiences shaped the person that you are today. My role is to help you sift through significant moments of life to assimilate, accept and refute the things that make up your true identity. Understanding the injustices we sometimes feel can help us on our journey to become empowered and autonomous individuals.

Healing starts with a single step. Taking that first step toward healing can feel overwhelming. You might feel vulnerable, stuck, or unsure of where to turn. But you’re not alone—and beginning this journey can be one of the most powerful decisions you make for yourself. Everyone’s path to healing looks different. For some, it’s about navigating relationship struggles—with partners, family, friends, or even yourself. For others, it’s learning how to cope in a world that can feel isolating and stressful. You might be feeling weighed down by anxiety, burnout, or patterns that no longer serve you.

Life takes us all by surprise at times and sometimes we can bounce back, but sometimes we need a bit of a helping hand; being able to identify those times and reach out is a sign of strength and the first step to taking control. If you are reading this then you have already taken the first step and I commend you for that.

Often clients come to me when they are seeking deep or broad change in themselves. They have often tried more brief forms of therapy. Commonly, this has helped but not enough, and there is a wish or a need to get to something deeper over a longer period of time. I work with a range of presenting issues, most commonly depression, anxiety and 'people pleasing', stuckness and relationship problems. What my clients tend to have in common is a wish to understand themselves at some depth, including how the past is unconsciously impacting on their present lives. This forms the starting point for change in the self.
