Wirral-based in-person sessions, online across the UK, or Walk & Talk outdoors - whatever feels most comfortable for you.
I work with couples who feel like they’re "flatmates who fight," and individuals who are tired of their own internal monologue tripping them up. … Maybe your relationship has lost its spark, or maybe you’re an individual feeling disconnected from yourself and everyone else. My ideal clients are ready to stop the "polite" surface talk and get into the real, messy truth. Whether we are untangling years of relationship patterns or navigating your personal hurdles, we move forward by identifying the "why" and then practicing the "how." I help you find your footing again so you can show up as your best, most authentic self.

I offer both in person and online therapy.
I work with men, women, and adolescents who may feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or unsure of their direction in life. Many of my clients are navigating relationship difficulties, low self-worth, trauma, identity questions, or a general sense that something is missing. I offer a grounded, relational, and trauma-informed space where we can slow things down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and begin to untangle the patterns that are keeping you stuck. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I will work alongside you with presence, curiosity, and care as you move toward meaningful change.

I specialise in supporting individuals experiencing trauma, chronic stress, and high levels of anxiety. Many of the clients I work with feel overwhelmed, constantly on edge, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they cannot shift. Trauma can deeply affect the nervous system, leaving you feeling disconnected or caught in fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown responses. I understand these reactions as protective adaptations shaped by past experiences — not personal weaknesses.

I am a seeking to help people who are struggling with the impact of a traumatic experience. This may be an individual traumatic experience or multiple events. Often times people living with symptoms of trauma feel alone, isolated and hopeless. The thought of seeking help and recovery can feel overwhelming and uncertain. I would like to work with clients who are ready to take the first step, or are seeking lasting recovery from difficult past experiences.

I trained in Person Centred Therapy because I believe in offering a non-directive, non-judgemental environment where you can explore your feelings at your own pace and reconnect with your core sense of self.
You may appear to be coping with work, relationships, and daily life, yet inside feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from yourself. You might be living with anxiety, burnout, low self-esteem, or a sense of being stuck, often after years of putting others first. You may be looking for a space where you do not have to perform or be ‘fixed’, but can feel truly heard and understood. Your goal may be to feel calmer, more grounded, and more confident, with greater self-trust, clearer boundaries, and a stronger connection to who you are.

I offer online and in-person one to one therapy, and I'd love to connect with you to help you understand yourself better.
I am based on the Wirral and work with people of all ages, children and adults, with a speciality in supporting autistic individuals. That said, I accept referrals from anyone looking for guidance and offer remote sessions so you can work with me from anywhere in the UK. My approach is casual and collaborative. We’ll figure out what works best for you together, and you’ll lead the conversation. There’s no pressure, and you’ll never be pushed into anything that doesn't feel right. I will be honest with you if I’m not the best fit for your needs and gladly help you towards the right support.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
