I know that taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting and you have taken that first step, Something I have also done so can understand some of the difficulties around this. You may be struggling and with the prospect of having counselling, I was too, some people may also feel ashamed as talking about difficulties isn't the done thing. I want you to know having counselling has turned out to be one of the best things I have ever done. Whatever you bring into your counselling I want to support you to uncover any difficulties holding you back to enable you to start living the life that you want.

I am a professional, empathic, and friendly BACP accredited Integrative Counsellor, working with both individuals and couples. With over 20 years experience, I provide a safe, confidential environment in which you can discuss your feelings and concerns without judgement. People may seek therapy because they have reached a crisis point in their life and are struggling to cope alone. Others make contact because they feel stuck or have become aware that they keep falling into unhelpful behaviour or thought patterns which prevent them from living life to the full.

I am a client led therapist with a focus on building trust in the relationship. I tend to work with clients who have complex or enduring difficulties, such as multiple diagnosis, or complex life circumstances. If you are willing to stay with the therapy, then I believe that transformation is always possible. I have considerable experience of working with neurodivergence and in supporting parents of neurodiverse children. I also have a growing base of clients from the LGBTQ+ community and the sex worker community. I am kink aware.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, addiction, bipolarity, childhood trauma, existential concerns, identity issues, relationship issues. The focus of our work together is compassionate self-awareness and non-critical self-understanding. We explore thoughts, feelings, and beliefs which predominate to help differentiate the prevalent experience of our lives from something deeper, more constant, and freer, within.

I work with individuals who may appear high-functioning externally while internally struggling with anxiety, trauma, addiction, shame, relationship difficulties, identity issues, burnout, or emotional overwhelm. Many clients come feeling disconnected from themselves, stuck in painful patterns, or seeking deeper meaning and lasting change. My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and holistic, combining psychotherapy with somatic and mindfulness-based practices. Together, we create a safe, compassionate space to build self-awareness, heal underlying wounds, and support meaningful transformation.

My practice includes psychodynamic, Jungian, transpersonal, Gestalt, embodied, and creative approaches.
I offer counselling to adults, both in person in London (Central London/Soho) or online via zoom. I support people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, a period of transition, stress, or low self-esteem. My approach is integrative, soulful, and relational. I work intuitively using different approaches based on what you bring and what feels right for you. I believe that therapy is about 'healing in relationship', so it is important first and foremost for us to build a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship. It is this relationship which creates the conditions for your story and any healing to unfold.

Are you faced with difficulties, feeling angry, sad or anxious? I understand the reason you are seeking counselling may not be in relation to any specific issue. For example, you may want a safe and confidential space to explore your feelings or seek to grow as a person. It is my wish that our sessions together can help you to understand yourself better and provide greater insight and awareness of your presenting issues or life experience. My integrative training allows me to be flexible and adaptable with my approach, as I feel that therapy is not a one size fits all endeavour.

You may have been feeling stuck or disheartened for some time, sensing that something in your life wants to shift but not knowing quite how. Perhaps you’ve tried different ways to feel better - through self-reflection, therapy, or spiritual practice - yet lasting change still feels out of reach. The challenges you face may involve low mood, anxiety, self-esteem, or difficulties with food, body image, or relationships. You might notice patterns like people-pleasing, procrastination, or feeling disconnected from your purpose or vitality. You’re now seeking a space where both your emotional and spiritual experience are understood.

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in repeating patterns—whether in relationships, work, or their inner lives. You may be struggling with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, eating disorders, or a sense of losing direction during a life transition. Often, you know something needs to change but feel unsure how to move forward. You want greater understanding, relief from distress, and a clearer, more balanced way ahead.

I am trained as a Child & Family Mediator and completed a specialisation in Transpersonal Psychology which informs my approach to therapy.
I have had a lifelong interest in the psychology of finding meaning and purpose in living and in how people adjust, face their challenges, cope and live in alignment to their dreams and values. Having learned mindfulness practice at a young age, I have a strong interest in the application of mindfulness based cognitive therapy to mental health

We are all influenced by the people in our lives and the experiences we have had both past and present, all of which serve to shape and define us. Sometimes we need help in understanding how the culmination of these factors can get in the way of being able to live life fully and with ease. Maybe you're looking for relief from the pain of anxiety or depression. You could be struggling with life changes or loss. You may want a better relationship with yourself and/or those closest to you. I offer a non-judgemental space in which I can help you to explore your feelings, beliefs and patterns of behaviour.

My goal in the therapy room is to create a safe, empathetic space where you feel comfortable exploring whatever is on your mind, knowing that we’re in it together, with respect for your autonomy and pace. I am curious and looking to have a deeper understanding of your human experience- how relationships, identities, and personal histories have shaped you. Transpersonal Counsellors
How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.

How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.

Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilise the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.

What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
