I support adults with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and burnout, tailoring my approach to your individual needs in a warm, trusting space where you can move at your own pace.
A supportive space for those who want to make sense of life’s challenges and move forward at their own pace.
Therapy isn't about having all the answers or trying to 'fix' who you are. It's about creating space to explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. Together, we can make sense of difficult thoughts and emotions, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work towards meaningful, lasting change.
My role is to walk alongside you as you explore whatever feels important, offering support, challenge, and reflection in a way that helps you gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

Hello, my name is Jezz.
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting. It’s common to wonder whether you’re “ready” or whether therapy is really for you. However, you don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan—just a willingness to begin.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure why certain emotions or body sensations keep showing up.
I work in a gentle, integrative way, bringing together psychotherapy and somatic awareness. This can include inner child and parts work, exploring how protective responses developed and how earlier experiences may still be influencing how you feel in your body today. Sessions are paced carefully, supporting regulation, clarity and reconnection.

I work with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, gender, identity, LGBTQ+ issues and trauma.
Acknowledging that you are struggling to cope with the daily life is hard and the first step to taking control of your life. Often people don’t feel that their problems are worth contacting a therapist about, as "others have it worse" and try to push the uncomfortable feelings away. Therapy isn't about blaming yourself or passing responsibility it's about working together with another individual to validate your experiences and understand your past patterns of behaviour. We will then work together to help you make positive changes for a more fulfilled life. I am a therapist and supervisor and work with teens and adults.

Life can be complex, we have competing demands on our time, sometimes it feels overwhelming, stressful and anxiety inducing.

Are you finding life tough, and feel that you are going round in circles mentally. I provide a safe space for you to come and share what is bothering you.
I had a career in business before I decided to become a therapist. I wanted to apply the skills learnt to help people become the best version of themselves.
It has been said. "Our clients no matter how odd or bizarre their behaviour may seem to an outsider, are essentially normal people with abnormal problems." For me this sums up therapy. It takes bravery to come for therapy, but we all need a safe space to talk to someone in our lives.

When should I seek treatment for anxiety?
Everyone feels anxious at times, but when anxiety causes disruption to your daily life, it may be time to seek help. Such disruption can be mental, physical, or both: having fear dominate your thoughts, avoiding situations or objects that bring on feelings of anxiety, or experiencing shortness of breath, sweating, dizziness, or panic attacks. When these symptoms are recurrent and distressing, it may be time to talk to someone.
What are the most common types of treatment for anxiety?
Talk therapy, particularly cognitive behavioural therapy, is the most common treatment for anxiety. Studies have shown it is equally effective as medication. Other forms of therapy are popular, depending on a patient’s experience. Exposure therapy, for instance, can be useful for people dealing with fears and phobias, or who have experienced traumatic events. Dialectical Behavioural Therapy may be useful for patients who need help with emotion regulation. Anxiolytic medications, like benzodiazepines, can also help with calming a person enough to focus on the skills they’ve learned, and physical exercise has been shown to help symptoms of anxiety across the board.
How long does therapy for anxiety take to work?
The amount of time needed to alleviate symptoms depends on the severity of a person’s condition. Some therapies may take 5-20 weekly sessions to show results. Anti-depressant medications typically take two to four weeks before a benefit is felt. Anti-anxiety medications are felt typically within 20-30 minutes. Medications are best used to offer a patient a better headspace in which to work on techniques learned in therapy. Exercise, improved sleep habits, and meditation are effective, but takes weeks or months to show results.
How effective is treatment for anxiety?
Treatment for anxiety has been shown to be moderately to highly effective, according to a large body of psychology studies and analyses. For some people, treatment using CBT or exposure therapy alone is effective. Others respond best to a combination of medication and therapy.
