Something feels off, but you can't quite name it. Maybe you're functioning fine on the outside while carrying something heavier underneath - anxiety that won't settle, patterns that keep repeating, or pain from the past that still shows up in your relationships and daily life. It doesn't have to stay this way. I'm Jennifer, a UKCP-registered integrative psychotherapist based at London Bridge. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. My primary approach is Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, woven into a broader frame - exploring your inner world with curiosity and care.

Are you feeling the effects of childhood trauma? A bereavement? Estrangement from a faith community or spiritual abuse? Clients typically approach me because they are feeling lonely or unfulfilled, are experiencing anxiety or depression, self loathing or self sabotage. Sometimes because of a relationship breakdown or problems at work. Sometimes wondering,“Who on earth am I ? ”

My approach is Integrative and Transpersonal (Psychosynthesis), seeing you as more than your struggles to connect with purpose and meaning.
Life can be difficult and overwhelming at times, leaving you feeling lost and stuck in the present, or perhaps hopeless and anxious about what the future holds. I’m PuiSum, a qualified counsellor, and I offer a supportive space for you to process your thoughts, experiences, and feelings. Everyone is unique, and I do not reduce individuals to a list of ‘issues.’ However, I have supported individuals navigating themes such as anxiety & depression, bereavement, trauma, (childhood/intergenerational), cultural identity/migration, existential questioning gender identity/sexuality, relationships/ family difficulties, neurodiversity.

My work is integrative and depth-oriented, drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, and transpersonal approaches.
Hi! I’m Ro (they/them). You might be navigating jealousy, attachment anxiety, communication breakdown, or feeling stuck in relational patterns that keep repeating. Perhaps you're exploring ethical non-monogamy (ENM), polyamory, or questioning monogamy, and want relationships that feel honest and sustainable. You may feel disconnected from yourself, carrying old relational wounds, struggling with emotional regulation, or unsure how past experiences are shaping intimacy now. You’re looking for space to slow down, untangle what’s happening, and build more secure, intentional ways of relating.

If you’re here, something may not feel right. You might be managing anxiety that never fully switches off, carrying the weight of trauma, navigating relationship strain, or simply feeling stuck and exhausted. I pride my practice on being down-to-earth, professional, non-judgmental and confidential. Therapy with me is structured and evidence-based, but never cold or overly clinical. Clients often say they value having a therapist who is steady, straightforward and genuinely human. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Some people come with clear goals; others just know they can’t keep going as they are.

Life can be challenging and difficult at times. Psychotherapy offers a space you can gift yourself — a space to be held, supported, and invited into new possibilities. I provide a safe, open, and thoughtful therapeutic environment where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore what feels important. Healing and growth often come through relationships in which we feel seen and understood. Difficulties and struggles can point us toward parts of our lives that are calling for attention, though this is not always easy to recognise when we are in the midst of them.

Welcome. This is a space for you where your voice matters and deserves to be heard. The core of my work is Integrative Psychotherapy (Mindfulness-based) in a one-to-one setting from Shoreditch, Hackney Central and Highbury Fields. Therapy can be thought of as a return home to ourselves. However the journey is not an instant fix. It is more helpful to think of it as a process of uncovering our histories, current struggles, how we get our needs met, and the ways we compromise ourselves. Through increased awareness, new possibilities and ways of being naturally emerge. In turn, our person finds itself more at home in life.

I offer a soulful approach to therapy grounded in the latest psychological theory. Often, it may seem that much of modern psychological therapy merely ruffles and reorganises the surface of the things that trouble us, seeing people who are experiencing psychological suffering as complex machines to which we can apply a set psychological theories. In contrast, after 20years of working as a psychological therapist, I believe it's more appropriate to approach clients as 'souls' in need of hearing, healing, connection, meaning, and renewal.

With CBT, we might examine how your thoughts shape your emotions, rewrite empowering personal stories with Narrative Therapy, or connect to a deeper sense of self with Transpersonal techniques.
Do you feel stuck in painful, repeating patterns - either in yourself or in your relationships? You might notice the same conflicts coming up, perhaps one of you pursues while the other withdraws, leaving you feeling disconnected, rejected, overwhelmed or more like roommates than partners. I work with individuals and couples to understand the deeper patterns, needs, fears and motivations driving persistent cycles. I help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, so you can build the tools you need for real change. And eventually, you start to feel more connected, secure, and at ease in yourself and your relationships.

Transpersonal Counsellors
How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.

How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.

Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilise the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.

What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
