Hello, thank you for clicking on my profile, I work with clients with a variety of mental health issues either for short term or long term work. My work is tailored to your needs in the therapy room and am client led and very person centred in my approach. I have been qualified for over 5 years, I am constantly updating my knowledge & skills so that my work is effective & appropriate to your needs. The relationship is key for me for the therapy to work for you therefore an assessment session is offered initially to ensure we both feel comfortable working together.
I have a particular interest and extensive knowledge regarding supporting those who have experienced early life developmental and complex trauma, separation and loss. Often these experiences continue to impact on our lives and abilities to make and sustain healthy and emotionally secure relationships in adulthood. Although psychoanalytically trained my clinical practice uses a range of therapeutic approaches and is predominately informed by attachment based theory. I can offer both short and longer term therapeutic support to individuals, couples and groups.
