I offer a safe, welcoming and supportive space to people who are facing difficulty in their lives. Some clients come to see me because of anxiety and stress, or are struggling with a lack of confidence and low self-esteem. Others come to therapy with relationship issues, such as, workplace challenges, loneliness, breakups, or loss. Sometimes, people come for personal development, feeling lost, stuck, or powerless. Working through challenges alone is difficult. Together we can help you manage how you feel, develop your inner resources, and explore the choices you have. Our time together is confidential and we work at your own pace.

I work with adults who want a supportive space to explore what’s going on for them. You may be feeling anxious, low, burnt out or carrying more than you let on. My approach is pluralistic, which means I don’t fit you into a model — we find what works for you. Clients often tell me they value my warmth, steadiness and the sense of being met as a whole person.

Hi, I’m Ruth! I experience many clients saying that they don’t believe that their problems are bad enough - there must be others in need who are suffering more, or that it is indulgent to go for counselling. Maybe people around them have questioned if they really need to get help? If you are finding it hard to manage for whatever reason, remember that you deserve to be heard and that your experiences, memories and feelings are real for you. Maybe someone around you is suggesting that you should seek some help and you aren’t sure. Ultimately it is your choice. When any type of mental health or emotional concern affects daily

Feeling unhappy, disconnected, or unsure where your marriage is heading? Many midlife couples reach a point where communication breaks down, resentment builds, and the relationship starts to feel lonely. If you’re lying awake at 3:17 am thinking about your future, you don’t have to face this alone. Support can help you understand what’s happening between you and find a clearer way forward. Alongside couples work, I also support individuals with anxiety, stress, self-esteem and relationship-related concerns.

We are all, in some way, trying to make sense of ourselves. The contradictions. The feelings we can't explain. The ways we love imperfectly and are loved imperfectly back. The parts that want connection and the parts that are afraid of it. This isn't dysfunction. This is being human. I'm an Integrative Psychotherapist and Relationship Counsellor. I work with individuals carrying anxiety, grief, and the quiet weight of unlived things. I work with couples who still love each other but have lost the thread. Somewhere beneath a life that looks fine, something vital has gone quiet.

My name is Ella and I am a therapist based in London. You may be struggling with anxiety, social anxiety, stress, depression, overwhelm, feelings of loneliness, significant loss and grief. Maybe you are struggling with important relationships in your life. Perhaps your struggle is not that clear and you have a feeling that something isn't quite right. Experiences such as anxiety, stress and depression can be symptoms of a deeper unease. Over time emotions can become trapped or inaccessible to us, and often we harbour hidden thoughts and feelings that have never been said out loud. Together, we can help you find clarity and relief.

I work with individuals and couples; all kinds of relationships — romantic partners, parents and children, siblings, friends—any dynamic where connection matters. Life’s pressures can sometimes make us feel unsure of ourselves. Our true selves can get buried under the weight of conditioning and other people’s ideas of who we are, and we can lose sense of where we are going. I am a warm, caring integrative therapist who will work by encouraging you to find answers from within. I can help you discover the person you were before you drew conclusions from others. I believe we all have the power to choose who we want to be.

As an integrative psychotherapist (BACP accredited) and EMDR therapist, I draw on a combination of different approaches, so that the therapy is tailored to each client's individual needs. Clearly professional qualifications & experience are important, but I also place great value on the healing nature of the relationship between client and therapist. Therapy is a collaborative process & I believe that building trust, feeling understood & in charge of decision & choice making within the process are all key aspects of the counselling journey for clients. For more info please visit my website www.cjecounsellingandtherapy.com

Transpersonal Counsellors
How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.

How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.

Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilise the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.

What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
