I work with adults who want a supportive space to explore what’s going on for them. You may be feeling anxious, low, burnt out or carrying more than you let on. My approach is pluralistic, which means I don’t fit you into a model — we find what works for you. Clients often tell me they value my warmth, steadiness and the sense of being met as a whole person.

You might be struggling with relationships, work, self-esteem, or a general sense that something is not quite right. Whether this is your first experience of therapy or you are returning. You are looking for a space where you can talk openly, feel heard and begin to make sense of things.

Life can be overwhelming, and whether you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or weighed down by past experiences, seeking support is a powerful first step toward change. Many of my clients come to me feeling lost, unsure of their next move, and often exhausted by the pressures of daily life. You might be wrestling with feelings of isolation, frustration, or a sense of “not being enough.” Therapy offers a safe and confidential space where you can slow down and work through challenges in a meaningful way. I work collaboratively with clients to overcome challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and self-esteem issues.

It can be difficult to talk about what is worrying you, and you might not even be able to explain all of your feelings. I provide a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and empathetic space for you to explore thoughts, feelings and emotions that make you unique. I believe that you will have your own solutions, so I do not offer advice but will work with you for you to gain an insight into yourself, increasing self-awareness, developing greater inner strength and furthering personal growth and development. This, in turn, supports with anxiety, depression and other issues.

I am a Integrative Counsellor and have been practising since 2016. The approach I use means I work collaboratively, combining different therapeutic perspectives with the clients needs and experiences both past and present. The relationship between myself and a client will be one that is non judgemental, genuine, a welcoming one, a space which is confidential and your voice can be heard and listened to. I have 18 years of experience of working with victims of domestic abuse. I offer a therapeutic space that is both sensitive and responsive to culture, religion, disability and sexuality.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, childhood trauma, or compulsive behaviours, including addictions. Many come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space to explore challenges, understand patterns, and develop coping strategies that promote insight, resilience, and personal growth. We look a little at the past and connect some dots on how patterns and behaviours play out today. Sessions can be short- or long-term, face-to-face, online, or by phone.

Welcome. Finding the right therapist can be a challenging process. It's essential to find someone who is the right fit. I offer a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space where my role would be to help you explore your abilities and strengths, enabling you to navigate whatever issues you face, develop a deeper understanding of yourself and enhance your overall sense of wellbeing. I believe that there is no single approach that works for everyone, as each person’s circumstances are unique. By combining elements from different modalities, I am able to create a personalised approach that suits you.

You're tired of feeling like this. Tired of overthinking, tired of putting everyone else first, tired of not understanding why you keep ending up in the same place. Something has to change and you know it. You may feel low, anxious or disconnected from yourself. Past experiences can shape us into over-givers, people-pleasers and people who stay in dynamics that leave them feeling unseen, drained or not enough. If you’re ready to understand why these patterns keep showing up, that’s where we start.

I am an integrative transpersonal counsellor. The unique element of this counselling is that we will encompass mind, body and spirit in our work together, in a holistic way. It’s a talking therapy but we can also use experiential exercises, visualisation and guided meditation. I sometimes use art and other creative techniques within therapy, which can help us access the parts of ourselves that talking alone may not reach. Most importantly, I offer you a safe, warm, empathetic & non-judgmental space in which to talk, to be heard and to be helped. Before training as a therapist, I worked in the City as a banker and lawyer.

Alcohol Use Counsellors
Are there specific medications for alcohol use?
There are oral medications approved to treat alcohol use disorder—such as disulfiram, acamprosate, and naltrexone, which also comes in an injectable form. These medications do help people reduce their drinking as well as avoid the problem of relapse. Naltrexone helps reduce cravings, disulfiram can make a person feel sick when they drink, and acamprosate may help ease symptoms like poor sleep and anxious feelings.

How do alcohol recovery or rehabilitation programs work?
In inpatient programs, individuals live in a facility with other patients in recovery; in outpatient programs, individuals live at home. These facilities are staffed with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, psychologists, counselors, and psychotherapists. Staff can also include people who have recovered themselves, serving as mentors and guides. These programs may use abstinence, harm reduction, detoxification, psychotherapy, and other tools for recovery.

How do 12-step programs combined with psychotherapy work?
Members of 12-step programs help each other reach abstinence and work to maintain it. These programs promote complete change in the individual’s emotional, mental, physical, and even spiritual perspectives. Some programs require that new members attend 90 meetings in 90 days. Many people do attend these programs in conjunction with their work in psychotherapy; the combination of therapy along with 12-step can be extremely effective.

How does harm reduction combined with psychotherapy work?
According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, harm reduction prevents death, injury, disease, overdose, and substance misuse. People who choose harm reduction for alcohol use reduce the amount of alcohol they intake. It is not abstinence-based like a 12-step program, but combining harm reduction with psychotherapy proves to be effective for many people.
