Sometimes our lives are interrupted by events, changing circumstances and personal challenges. Having a trusting and non-judgemental relationship with a caring professional, can enable you to work through such difficult times and move forward. We can work together to explore your current situation in a safe, non-directive and confidential way. This will give you the opportunity to reflect, question, process, allow for change, or whatever you feel is necessary at this time. If what you need is someone to listen unconditionally and respectfully, as you find your way on your journey, then we can work together.

I offer sessions face to face in my safe & comfy therapy room based in Walton on the Naze, I also work online, so wherever you are in the world. Feeling stuck, anxious, or not quite yourself — but unsure whether therapy is for you? Many people come to therapy feeling exactly this way, often after trying to manage alone for a long time. I’m an experienced therapist offering a warm, supportive space to explore what’s happening for you. I don’t see therapy as a last resort — it’s something I use myself when I need support and clarity. If this hits home, I invite you to get in touch for an initial chat.

We can all benefit from creating spaces of reflection and connection in our lives. Psychotherapy can be useful not only in helping people in severe psychological distress, but also in facilitating self-discovery, insight and growth, particularly during times of difficulty, change and transition. Greater curiosity about one’s self and increased self-awareness can help to bring recognition to, and shift, unhelpful patterns of behaviour. This insight can also increase the capacity to cope with challenging situations; contribute to building more meaningful relationships; & create space for a rich, meaningful and balanced life.

Are you struggling with intimacy, sexual confidence, or feeling disconnected from your partner or your own body? Difficulties with sex and relationships are incredibly common, but many people feel too ashamed or anxious to talk about them. This can be from a combination of how sex was talked about in your household, your sex education, early sexual experiences and unpleasant sexual experiences. Therapy offers a safe and supportive space to explore what’s going on and begin to move forward.

I’m Kasia (she/her), a qualified therapist offering integrative counselling in Walthamstow (E17) and online. Before training, I worked in fast-moving charity and corporate sectors, learning about pressure, burnout, and the quiet cost of holding everything together. That experience shapes my work and how I understand coping in different environments. My approach is rooted in curiosity and care, and in the belief that healing happens through relationship and genuine connection. I offer an inclusive, respectful space to explore what feels vulnerable, uncertain, or unseen, with awareness of identity, belonging, and difference.

As a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience across the NHS and private settings, I work with adults navigating emotional distress, long-term health conditions, identity struggles, relational trauma, anxiety, low mood, and moments of deep uncertainty. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in your lived experience. Therapy, to me, is not just about symptom relief—it’s about being seen, heard, and understood. It’s a space where pain can be held gently, where parts of ourselves we’ve hidden away can slowly come into the light.

A genuine human connection is really important for me, and I pride myself on cultivating an authentic space, where you will be met with compassion and non-judgement. Sometimes talking to those closest to us is often not an option, or may not be available to you and it can feel easier to seek support from someone who is impartial to your day to day life. I offer a sense of calm and encourage self-awareness and understanding, working collaboratively to explore your experiences - I want to get to know you, however you present.

Whatever has brought you here, you’re already taking a step towards understanding yourself more deeply. You may feel things intensely and reflect a lot, but still find it hard to make sense of what’s happening right now. You may notice yourself going round in familiar patterns that leave you feeling stuck, ashamed, or disconnected from others and from yourself. Maybe you’re questioning aspects of identity, desire, sex and intimacy, and wanting more clarity, confidence, and ease in how you show up. At heart, you want to feel more alive, more connected with intuition, more at home in yourself, in your body, and in your relationships.

Just by being curious, you are making the first initial step. By coming onto this platform with the intention of having a look, to see who you think you might like to work with. This potential journey is all about you and your discovery, but in order to do that I will share with you my discovery. My lived experience has given a depth of knowledge, that has now brought me to a place where I feel, not only have I embraced who I truly am, but curiosity, strength, compassion, and empathy have given me the ability to support others through those more challenging moments in life.

Women's Issues Counsellors
How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.

How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realised.

How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
