I work from a person centred approach with experience in areas such as bereavement, anxiety, stress and depression.
Sometimes our lives are interrupted by events, changing circumstances and personal challenges. Having a trusting and non-judgemental relationship with a caring professional, can enable you to work through such difficult times and move forward. We can work together to explore your current situation in a safe, non-directive and confidential way. This will give you the opportunity to reflect, question, process, allow for change, or whatever you feel is necessary at this time. If what you need is someone to listen unconditionally and respectfully, as you find your way on your journey, then we can work together.

Are you concerned your partner/friend/family member is a narcissist? Perhaps you know they are but feel stuck. Maybe your previous relationship was toxic, leaving you afraid to date again. As well as working with anxiety, depression, anger issues, relationship problems and much more. I have many years experience in helping clients free themselves from the total devastation that narcissistic abuse brings. I know from first hand experience how it feels to be love bombed, devalued, gaslit, manipulated and then ultimately discarded. To be left feeling as though your soul has been sucked out and questioning who you even are!

We seek counselling for a number of reasons including anxiety, trauma, depression, loss, stress, relationship difficulties - but also to gain a greater understanding of the ‘self’ and improve psychological well-being.
I am a progressive, private practitioner providing a confidential service where you can talk, express your feelings in a non judgemental, neutral and safe space. I work open ended in person with adults and young people. Rather than analysing, or tell you how to feel and act, I walk alongside you in your discovery for answers and growth.

I provide a safe space and listening ear, so that you can get to know yourself a little better.

I am one of London's leading providers of EMDR therapy, a powerful, evidence-based approach for trauma, PTSD, and complex grief.
My work is depth-oriented and emotionally engaged. I integrate psychodynamic and humanistic psychotherapy, EMDR, existential psychology, and cultural understanding to help clients process trauma, understand unconscious patterns, and develop a more authentic and meaningful way of living. Often, the problem is not simply symptoms, but years spent adapting, performing, or surviving. Additionally, I offer private psychological assessments and reports for PTSD, C-PTSD, CICA, AFCS and complex diagnostic questions in Harley Street and online.

We may explore your history applying a psychodynamic lens, or apply mindfulness and behavioural techniques (like DBT) for real-world change depending on what serves you best in resolving issues such as grief, anxiety, or relational and workplace stress.
I believe therapy is a collaborative experiment aimed at tangibly and enduringly improving the quality of your life. Success often begins by formulating the right questions. As an experienced assessor and case manager, I excel at fostering curiosity to connect seemingly disparate threads in your story. This process creates new understanding and provides space to address the challenges we often keep hidden—unpacking them with more care and honesty than day-to-day life typically allows. In this, I follow a person-centred foundation that prioritises safety and careful listening.

How long does therapy take for grief?
There is no exact timeline for grief counseling. Some people may start to feel better after just a few sessions, while others may take months or longer to feel relief. Some specific approaches, including some types of CBT, may involve a set number of sessions, or therapy may be open-ended until the patient determines they are ready to wrap up. Just as there is no right or wrong way to grieve, there is no right or wrong way to seek therapy for grief.

When should you seek therapy for grief?
Many people mistakenly believe that their grief needs to be debilitating or all-encompassing to warrant therapy. This is not the case. While people who experience severe, prolonged grief—particularly those who are considering self-harm or engaging in unhealthy substance use—are especially likely to benefit from therapy, so too are people whose grief is less intense but still interfering with well-being or daily functioning. In practice, almost anyone struggling to process a loss could benefit from grief counseling.

Can grief be managed without therapy?
Oftentimes, yes. Grief is a near-universal part of being human, and many find that their grief, while profound, does not stop them from participating in day-to-day life and steadily eases over time without outside help. For others, however, the harsh pain of early grief persists for months or years or leaves them unable to function. This group is especially likely to benefit from seeing a therapist, who can guide them through their grief and help them reconnect with the world.

What happens if grief is left untreated?
Because grief does not in itself necessitate therapy, untreated grief will often resolve on its own. However, for some people—particularly those who would qualify for a diagnosis of prolonged grief disorder—untreated grief can be a source of seemingly endless pain or lead them to withdraw from the world. In such cases, treatment can be indispensable, as it can help an individual adapt to the loss and start living again.
