I offer a kind, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space for you to come in and talk about whatever is on your mind, whether it's things that happened a long time ago or something that's happened this past week. I'll work to ensure that you feel safe to explore whatever is on your mind, knowing that sometimes you may process difficult memories or situations quickly, or it might take some time. Our work together will happen in the way that feels right to you, and I will support you as we move forward. I'm not judging my clients, I'm not easily shocked, and I don't mind if you swear - sometimes there's really only one word for it!

Hi, I'm Chloe. A neurodivergent psychotherapist and dog-mum of 2, living and working in Derbyshire. I currently work with a range of clients exploring themes of neurodiversity (self or professionally diagnosed), work-related stress, family dynamics, sexuality and bereavement. I love working with clients to explore power dynamics and have noticed clients using therapy to find their voice establishing boundaries, particularly with parents as they enter adulthood. I have an interest in working with women exploring body-image issues, challenges surrounding weight loss/gain and bariatric surgery.

Perhaps you are struggling with trauma, low self-esteem, or confidence, and find yourself constantly putting others first while your own needs go unmet. You may feel unheard, misunderstood, or stuck in patterns that leave you feeling exhausted or overwhelmed. If life feels harder than it should, and you’re wondering whether things could be different, therapy can offer a supportive space to begin making sense of what’s been holding you back. When self-esteem or confidence is impacted, it can show up as anxiety, stress, low mood, anger, panic attacks, or relationship difficulties. In therapy, we can gently explore these patterns.

If your child is struggling with big emotions, behaviour, or feeling understood, play therapy can offer a safe way for them to express what words sometimes cannot. I support children aged 4–13, including those with ADHD or exploring neurodivergence, who may experience anxiety, emotional overwhelm, low confidence, or difficulties with relationships and regulation. Through child-led play therapy, I help children safely explore emotions, build confidence, and develop healthier ways of coping, while supporting parents to better understand and respond to their child’s needs.

Welcome. My name is Terina. Therapy is a bit like a walk through a forest that we agree to go on together. We don't yet know what the experience will be like, where it will take us or what might come up and we can't determine the outcome - it is new and unknown for both of us. The important thing is, we do this walk together. I can offer you my support, empathy and honesty and the space to explore anything that matters to you, without judgement.

Many people seek counselling for varying reasons, usually because of issues faced in our daily life which feel challenging or uncomfortable. We may feel stuck, sad, low or confused by an issue happening now or in the past. Perhaps relationships with family, friends or work colleagues feel difficult and awkward to navigate but you don’t quite know the reasons why.

If you’ve been coping with life by "just being strong" and pushing feelings aside, you are not alone. Asking for help can feel frightening, especially if you carry everything yourself. Life can throw unexpected challenges our way, leaving us feeling anxious, overwhelmed.I provide a gentle, confidential, and deeply respectful space for both men and women to untangle these complex emotions without pressure. My clients are adults who have spent a lifetime being the strong one, often surviving early adversity, trauma, or sexual abuse, and are ready to safely explore a cleaner path forward.I offer therapy in both English and Polish.

Hi, I’m Andrea. Many people contact me when anxiety or depression start to take over — constant worry, overthinking, feeling on edge, struggling to switch off, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday life. When joy fades and everything feels like “too much,” it can be hard to know where to turn. Your experiences matter and I hold space for all of it — but therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy the whole way through. It can also be a genuinely good experience, a steady, supportive place to feel lighter, clearer and more yourself again. I aim to offer a calm, down‑to‑earth space where you can breathe, feel understood and find your way.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
