Hello, my name is Emma, and I am an expereinced counsellor. I am passionate about empowering women to further develop and use their voice, explore what is important to them, and be alongside them while they create the life they want. My background is in early childhood education, where I worked with children and families for 8 years. During my career, I focused on supporting young children to co-regulate their emotions, encourage risk and challenge, and facilitate children to use their voice and contribute to making decisions that affect them.
I have experience supporting clients with a range of issues, such as self-esteem, confidence, anxiety, depression, identity, women's issues, chronic illness, loss and bereavement (including pet loss) and relationship difficulties.
I have previously worked with clients at a psychotherapy centre and a hospice, and I am currently working as a social prescribing link worker for a charity, where I support GP patients to impvoe their health and wellbeing.
