Hi, I’m Emma and I understand life can be challenging, confusing, overwhelming, stressful and often very difficult at times. Sometimes life can just get on top of us, and sometimes something happens to trigger us. Either way, you don’t have to manage this on your own. I understand that coping with the pressures of daily life alongside your own internal struggles can be difficult. I can help you to work through your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and emotions; to help you make sense of your world. I use an integrative approach, I use a range of methods to assist me in my practice, selecting those which are best suited for you.
I offer face to face and online sessions. Sessions are tailored to meet your needs; we will work collaboratively to look at the source or sources of the problem. Together we will find ways of enabling you to move forward, ways you are comfortable with, and which will help you to meet your individual goals. I offer both short-term and longer-term sessions.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of life issues, such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, trauma and relationships issues. I also enjoy working with young people aged 16-18 years, where 10 years of professional work with adolescents has enabled me to support this age group in managing their own unique set of pressures, worries and fears.
