I am experienced with working with young people and their families. I have worked with young people that have a variety of conditions including a range of medical diagnosis including, Autism, OCD, ADHD, and Chronic Fatigue, Depression and Anxiety, PTSD, Eating Disorders as well as others. Important aspects of my role are to support those in distress to feel safe enough to explore their difficulties. To help create trust that they can tolerate different strategies, apply tools, which will help them to gain a better understanding, and empower them to ultimately find relief and a new strength that will create change.
Working face to face or over the phone I am able to offer experience in most of life’s difficulties. I am keen to help my clients to find the best way forward for them. I am an accredited Art Psychotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council Regulating health, psychological and social work professionals. I also supervise students.
Difficulties can often be believed to be invisible even to the one who has them, until it is no longer possible to ignore them. Without safe support, untreated difficulties can seriously effect quality of life and isolate people from their human right to feel safe and their ability to share and resolve their pain. It is possible to create positive change
