If you find that words or language is a barrier to understanding yourself and your challenges then music therapy is for you. Being playful with instruments can seem daunting, but you do not need any particular skill and I will help support you in building your confidence to explore and create in a way that helps you gain insight into your emotions and understanding of yourself.
Music therapy is an established psychological clinical intervention. Music is used to support you, your child or family in exploring emotions, relationships, and experiences in a safe, secure, and supportive environment. It can offer a person a way of being heard that they might not have experienced and can help improve physical and emotional wellbeing
Everything I do is based around supporting your needs, no matter what they are and supporting you to take control of your life. Together we can explore emotions, life experiences and relationships through musical creativity. It can sound really tricky at first, but if words are a barrier to understanding, music can provide a new way to think about your life.
