Firstly, thank you for visiting my profile, below I give a ‘snapshot’ of who I am and what I feel I can offer you if you chose to work with me. This is an important decision and if you need more information before deciding if we are a fit please let me know and I can arrange a short telephone call.
I have almost ten years of experience. I am also accredited with the BACP which means I meet their high standard as a competent, ethical and independent practitioner.
I have lived experience as a client, both before qualifying as a therapist and after, I believe as a therapist we can only take clients as far as we have gone ourselves.
I qualified as a person-centred therapist in 2018, and this is a central part of my practice. I then expanded my training to become an integrative psychotherapist through a range of different training courses, including a BA Hons degree in counselling and psychotherapy. I have training in body psychotherapy and I also specialise in addiction and trauma.
As your therapist, I can hold space as we safely and collaboratively look at what is causing you pain. I do this in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming by using a range of theories tailored to you, your personality and your needs. You are the expert, your own hero and I can walk with you as you undo all that is not you and find your authentic self.
