Like me, my client base has been gloriously eclectic. I have extensive experience of working with many types of loss. Grief is painful no matter whether it's as a result of a relationship breakup, loosing touch with parts of yourself. Slowly painfully loosing a loved one to Alzheimers/Dementia, being a carer for a child with an eating disorder. I regularly work with clients who have been in some way affected by a Brain Tumour. Interestingly Anger and Rage is something i have worked with regularly in the last 4 years. If you or your partner are neurodivergent I can help you find collaborative ways of communicating together.
I am a down to earth Yorkshire women who is also a Wife and Mum. I have a rich tapestry of lived experience and theory at my disposal. I've always felt safe and protected whilst walking through woods. I aim to offer the same feeling of safety and protection as we take this journey together and I walk alongside you whilst you go on a journey of discovery.
The therapeutic relationship is paramount, the work I do with you wont be like work I've done with any other client as its co created. I'm part of a group of therapists that specialise in neurodivergence, so if after we've spoken you don't think we'd be able to form a therapeutic relationship. I can refer you to colleagues who might be better suited.
