Hiya! I’m Em, a neuro-affirming person-centred therapist offering sessions in Warrington and online. Maybe you know exactly what’s brought you to therapy, or maybe you just know that things don’t feel quite right. Either way, you don’t need to have all the answers right now. I will be by your side, offering empathy, understanding and curiosity as we explore whatever you wish to bring to our sessions. We’ll work together as a team, at your pace, towards any personal goals you want to achieve. It would be a privilege to be alongside you as you make sense of things, discover more about yourself and find your own way forward.
I want therapy to feel human. There can be humour, quiet moments, stimming, lots of swearing, tears, losing your train of thought or having absolutely no idea what to say.
I work with anxiety, stress, bereavement, depression, relationships, self-esteem and identity, amongst many other things. I take a holistic, individual approach and tailor our work to you
I find myself working with lots of queer and neurodivergent people, and I can relate to many of the joys, challenges and complexities that can come with being queer and/or neurodivergent. My hope is that you’ll feel able to bring your whole self, without fear of judgement, and feel heard, understood and accepted for who you are.
