Hello, I am Emily, a full-time qualified counsellor, and avid advocate of emotional and psychological wellbeing. My approach to sessions is a relaxed and caring style, which in turn aims to support you, the client, in understanding your thoughts and feelings. Helping you to develop a set of tools to enhance your quality of life and self-worth, allowing you to deal with future events and giving you better insight.
The emphasis of our work together is to provide a safe space, allowing you to talk about all issues, be they current or historical. Those which may be effecting the way in which you carry out your everyday lives, causing stress and anxiety, and becoming fixed in this patten of thought. Having counselling can enable you to make small positive changes.
