I am an integrative Counsellor with many years experience in the field. I specialise in supporting people struggling with trauma, addictions, guilt and shame, childhood sexual abuse, anxiety and depression. My work includes supporting clients of all ages with a broad range of issues such as relationship problems, feelings of isolation, low self-esteem, life transitions, loss and bereavement or feeling stuck or alone in life or in a relationship. My aim is to work together with you to enable you to enrich your life, for you to reach your potential, freeing you from your difficulties for you to live a richer and fulfilling life.
I draw from different approaches to Counselling such as: Psychodynamic Approach, Person Centered Approach, Existentialism and CBT. My approach to Counselling can be influenced by theories that explore our earliest relationships and how they affect us in adult life which may lead to relationship issues.
As a therapist I understand it can feel quite daunting to reach out and speak to someone. It is important to me for you to feel as comfortable as possible during the process, so that you can feel at ease to share whats on your mind. I aim to create a warm, safe, confidential and non judgemental space.
