I offer Counselling and Psychotherapy to individuals who are suffering from many different areas of difficulty. Counselling can help with a variety of issues including but not limited to: Abuse Anger Anxiety Childhood Difficulties Depression Eating disorders Family Problems Grief Self esteem Self harm Stress Trauma. Counselling can be short or long term.
It may be easier to have a few sessions and assess whether you think it will be beneficial to you. This may be particulary useful if you have never accessed therapy before.
I am a humanistic and integrative therapist working in Nottingham. I completed my BSc Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Instituite in Nottingham and I have been practising since 2014. I am also a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy
In the first session we will meet and have a get to know session. We will discuss your reasons for entering therapy and discuss whether we would work well together. We would discuss your wishes and needs and what you want to gain from the sessions. It's also an opportunity for you to decide if i'm the right therapist for you.
