I am an experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor working with children and teenagers, from differing ages and levels of understanding, using creative interventions like art and play. Topics and concerns that have been explored include self esteem, worries, anxiety, low mood, self harm, and identity, amongst others.
For the past 5 years, this has been within counselling and psychotherapy, as I’ve worked alongside young people to explore their current situations and experiences, helping to identify concerns and bring about any changes they hope for.
As an Integrative Counsellor/Therapist I work using a developmental-relational approach that uses a combination of various psychotherapeutic modalities. I ‘integrate’ these approaches depending on the needs of the young person I am working with, with the aim of facilitating the storytelling of their experience and assist in an understanding of their past.
