But there is hope—and you’re not alone. Hi, I’m Emily, a therapist specialising in treating OCD through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I understand how exhausting it is to live with relentless thoughts and behaviours. The constant anxiety and ‘what-ifs’ can feel heavy, but together we can start to lift that weight. My mission is simple: to help you break free from OCD’s grip and live life on your terms again.
OCD often begins with unwanted, intrusive thoughts that can be distressing. While many can brush these off, those with OCD become trapped, questioning what these thoughts mean. This anxiety triggers compulsions—repetitive physical or mental actions aimed at neutralising distress. Compulsions keep you stuck in the OCD cycle, and make life increasingly hard.
My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and even light-hearted at times. Together, we’ll work to break the OCD cycle and guide you towards a more authentic, fulfilling life.
