About
I am an MBACP registered psychotherapist. I work with clients of all ages, but have a particular interest in working with children and young people. I have a longstanding interest in how our early relationships affect our development. I offer counselling (including play therapy where appropriate) and parenting support. I work as an integrative therapist. This means I blend elements from different approaches and I tailor this according to each of my client’s needs. This can include exploring how buried thoughts, feelings and experiences shape our current relationships.
I offer a safe environment in which to explore what you / your child need to, at your own pace. A space that values respect, that makes you feel you have really been listened to, that is non-judgemental and open.
Outside of private practice, I work with children and young people in school settings, providing a safe, nurturing and person-centred environment for children who have been identified as in need of additional support. I have over 20 years of experience of working with children, young people and families. I am happy to offer a free initial consultation.
