Hi there. If you are trans or looking to explore gender identity issues I'd be very happy to talk. I'm a Gender Identity Specialist and I've been supporting people through and beyond transition as a therapist for the last 15 years. I’m also trans myself. Gender transition can be an incredible opportunity for growth but can also be overwhelming and anxiety filled. It's normal to feel unsure and want to take time to work out what's right for you. And beyond transition, we can still need support for everything else life brings. I'm neuro-divergent friendly and happy to chat through any needs you have.
I’m experienced in supporting people with a range of issues - relationships, feelings around bodies, sex, finances, transphobia, exclusion and more. My style is relaxed but fully engaged and we'll explore everything we need to at your pace. I'm a published author on supporting trans clients and I'm a Clinical Associate with the organisation Pink Therapy.
Getting in touch with a therapist can be daunting, but I'm an approachable person and we can just start with a chat. Also if you are thinking of transitioning, I have a free transition planning tool you can download on my website, that might help you make a start. I’m happy to work with anyone who just wants a trans friendly therapist too.
