She has trained in Art Psychotherapy with an integrative approach, meaning that she can tailor therapy to meet your needs and who you are. An integrative approach can be used to treat any number of psychological problems and disorders, including abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety and personality disorders.
Ellie has completed a 4-year master’s degree in art psychotherapy; a professional method of treatment which may be used alongside the integrative approach. Ellie has worked with physical and learning disabilities, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and acute mental health diagnosis using these techniques.
Ellie’s approach to psychotherapy is very person centred; it’s about you and your needs. The advantages of this therapy are that it is broad based, which means she can draw upon many different skill sets to help you. You do not need to be good at art to get involved in the arts, and as Ellie is trained in all mediums you have the option not to get arty also.
