We all have times when we feel that life is getting on top of us. This is a natural part of all our realities, and our movement through these times is part of our overall growth and development as a person. Often we can successfully negotiate these difficult times or events ourselves, but sometimes we may decide that we need support. I specialise in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling & EMDR therapy. I offer both short-term and long-term one-to-one therapy for adults & young people. I have a wealth of experience in education and work with young people, families and adults as both a Primary Mental Health Worker and a counsellor.
I am qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I am also a qualified EMDR practitioner and completed my core training with the EMDR Academy and level 1 Child & Adolescent EMDR Training with The Child Trauma Therapy Centre. I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists
I will spend time with you in the relaxed, comfortable setting of my therapy room. I will commit this time to listening without making judgement, in order to develop a holistic understanding of you as a unique person. We will work together in confidentiality so that we can further understand what has brought you to counselling.
