I'm an online and Hertfordshire based Clinical Psychologist supporting Autistic young people, young adults and their families around mental wellbeing, sleep and understanding behaviours of distress. I offer interventions directly with young people, adults and/or with parents/ carers and families. I can support around challenges with anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation and sleep. I also offer work around aspects of understanding diagnosis, identity and self-esteem. I can offer Cognitive Assessments to identify strengths and areas of need to support with mental wellbeing and education of young people.
I use a range of psychological models including: CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Systemic and PBS (Positive Behaviour Support). I work integratively, which means that I draw ideas from different models dependent on what we feel will be helpful at that time.
I take a strengths based and a Neurodivergence positive approach. I can use my training and experience of working with children and families to support with your challenges. However, I recognise that you are the experts in your own experiences and family, so we need to work together to find the most helpful way forward.
