I'm Ella, a creative psychotherapist specialising in therapy for neurodivergent adults. I'm also autistic myself & care deeply about offering therapy by neurodivergent people, for neurodivergent people. Whether you're diagnosed, self-identified or exploring, you might feel you're navigating a world that is overwhelming. Maybe you feel things deeply, experience social anxiety, or are exhausted from pushing yourself to deal with environments not designed with difference in mind. I believe in making space for all this - the way you experience the world is real!
My approach is rooted in existential, person-centred & creative principles. We might think about things like your sense of meaning & purpose, the limits you're coming up against, & what life's like for you specifically, not what we're told is 'normal'. Using colour, image or writing can also give us an alternate language to explore our inner worlds with.
I bring with me a background in psychology & hold 13 years' professional experience supporting children & adults through residential settings, helplines, art groups & charities.
