Welcome! I’m Liz.If you have been thinking about therapy for a while but feel unsure if it will work for you, you're not alone. It is normal to hesitate, but taking that first step can change everything. I am an integrative counsellor, supervisor, and lecturer with 20 years' experience. More importantly, I am a human being who brings genuine warmth, deep respect, and a sense of humour to our sessions. I will never falsely promise to magically solve all your problems. What I do promise is to stand by your side, working ethically and safely to help you navigate what might be the most difficult chapter of your life.
As an Integrative therapist I offer a solid foundation of person centred relational depth, integrated with both Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This means that all my clients are offered a unique approach which is best suited to their issue and personality.
Clients sometimes flirt with the idea of therapy for a long term, believing it can work for others but not for them. An initial chat on the phone should alleviate any initial concerns you have so you can move forward with confidence. Or you can email me and I will respond within 12 hours.
