I work with adults and young people, who are experiencing challenges that affect their day-to-day life. These include relationship and family issues, divorce, abuse, panic disorders and child related issues - to mention just a few. Sometimes these challenges can lead to feeling isolated or confused, depression, anxiety or stress. Maybe you have struggled with fitting into society or you have been struggling with low self esteem. Either way, I can offer you a safe space to gently explore your experiences.
I am a qualified integrative therapist. I have trained in a range of modalities, including Psychodynamic Counselling and Transactional Analysis. There are times where you may just want to talk and be listened to and times where together we can explore your past experiences and relationships to help you understand how these are impacting your present life.
I offer a warm and empathetic approach. We will work at your own pace, which will help build an honest and reliable relationship making it easier to feel able to speak freely. Your unique needs will always be at the heart of my work. Seeing a counselor or opening up for the first time can be a daunting process but I also believe it can be life-changing.
