Are you looking for help and support? Are you struggling with anxious thoughts, depression, trauma or loss and nothing is helping? If you are experiencing difficulties, feeling as if you are sinking or stuck, I am here to work alongside you in a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space. I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist. I have worked in the NHS and third sector organisations. I have extensive experience working with trauma including: sexual violence, living with cancer (whether it is the person themselves or a loved one) as well as loss and bereavement. I have also worked extensively with eating disorders.
I use a range of evidence-based therapies: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT).
My aim is to empower you to manage difficult emotions and/or memories in order to get your life back on track. I will endeavour to tailor the therapy to meet your needs and what is important to you to achieve your goals and live life to the fullest.
