My ideal client has autism or Asperger’s syndrome and/or is an individual who is in a close relationship with someone that has Asperger’s/autism. I see clients in person in Northamptonshire & by video. I have counselled autistic individuals and their families for nearly 20 years. My autism specialist practice is informed by my Masters in Autism/PGC in Asperger’s and also from long term familial connections. I am BACP registered (no 145760). In July 2025, and after eight years of training with Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre. I qualified as a full clinical body psychotherapist (UKCP registration 2011166457).
I am an expert in Asperger’s/autism. I hold a PGC in Asperger syndrome and a Masters in Autism alongside counselling and psychotherapy qualifications. I was the first person to be honoured by HRH Her Majesty the Queens in her birthday honours in 2016 for services to Asperger’s syndrome after I founded the UK wide charity Action for Neurodiversity.
I understand the issues surrounding autism on all levels. As an early pioneer of neurodivergent therapy, I have over 6,000 hours of counselling "lives affected by autism" under my belt. In later years, and following a personal medical mesh injury, I decided to hone my skills in somatic psychotherapy.
