My ideal client has autism or Asperger’s syndrome. My other ideal client is an individual who is in a close relationship with someone that has Asperger’s/autism. I see clients in person in Northants & by video. I have counselled autistic individuals and their families for over 15 years. My practice is informed by my Masters in Autism/PGC in Asperger’s and also from a long relationship with an Asperger’s individual. I am also a mother to Asperger’s individuals. Additionally, I have just completed six years of body psychotherapy studies with Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre.
I am an expert in Asperger’s/autism. I hold a PGC in Asperger syndrome and a Masters in Autism alongside counselling qualifications. I was the first person to be honoured by HRH Her Majesty the Queens in her birthday honours in 2016 for services to Asperger’s syndrome. I am the founder of ‘Action for Asperger’s’ www.actionforaspergers.org
I have familial and professional knowledge of Asperger syndrome/autism. I understand the issues of autism on a visceral level. I have over 6,000 hours of counselling lives affected by autism under my belt.
