I’m Elaine Hames, a Brazilian psychotherapist based in London with over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I am a registered member of the BACP and take an integrative approach, combining different therapeutic techniques to create a personalised and effective treatment plan for each client.I believe that trust and genuine connection are the foundation of successful therapy. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming and ethical space where you or your child can explore emotions, overcome challenges and develop strategies to cope with anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem and other emotional difficulties.
I offer in-person sessions in Fulham and online, ensuring flexibility to suit each individual’s needs. For children, the process begins with an initial session with parents, followed by a few sessions with the child to better understand their emotions and behaviours. Based on this, I develop a tailored treatment plan, which is adjusted as therapy progresses,
For children and adolescents, I use creative and expressive techniques to make therapy engaging and comfortable. For adults, I provide a supportive space for self-discovery and emotional regulation, helping to navigate challenges such as anxiety, grief, and past traumas.
