I'm an experienced psychotherapist having worked in both private practice and NHS . I have dealt with a broad range of issues, including but not limited to: anxiety and depression, loneliness, relationship issues, sadness, loss, stress, self harm, sexual identity/gender, bereavement, redundancy, trauma, PTSD and disassociation. I have also worked with and set up a Post-Natal Depression Support Group for parents in collaboration with Surestart and a Doctor's Surgery in Surrey. I am also a member of the Guildford Centre for Psychotherapy.
I offer open ended therapy, with sessions once a week. I work empathetically, exploring how experiences are informed by your past. Through understanding these, unhelpful patterns of behaviour and thinking can be changed leading to greater personal confidence and ease and better relationships.
We initially meet for a consultation to explore your present situation and best way forward for you in a safe, relaxed environment. Sessions available Mondays- Friday. Fees 70-90. I hold a few low costs available for those on low incomes and students. Investing time in understanding yourself is never wasted.
