Hi there! I am a Clinical Psychologist with 20 years experience in mental healthcare. Offering a range of evidence based therapies to work with complex emotional needs, my clients have often had adverse experiences such as trauma, neglect or abuse and may be experiencing depression, anxiety, low self worth, intense emotionality or relational difficulties. I see people for both longer term and time limited therapy. I work well with people who experience shame around their issues, are anxious about therapy or who have found previous therapy unhelpful. I also provide supervision and training to other psychologists and institutions.
I am a HCPC registered Doctor of Clinical Psychology with 20 years in practice. I draw on a breadth of additional training and experience in both private and NHS settings to work with people in a bespoke manner drawing particularly on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy, Narrative Therapy and EMDR .
I am a big believer in the importance of the therapeutic relationship in healing and change and practice in a compassionate manner that builds trust and supports clients to develop their own helpful understanding of their experiences.
