About
I offer short term Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which will enable you to better understand what is maintaining a particular issue so that we can work together towards making you feel better. To be clear you are the expert on you and my role is to support you so that you may help yourself without having to spend an inordinate amount of time having therapy or continually returning to therapy. I offer an initial six entirely confidential sessions at a safe space in Bow, East London. Alternatively I am also qualified in Gestalt humanistic therapy too for if the issue runs a bit deeper and the support needed is longer term.
Whether it is anxiety, depression, addiction or another issue something is maintaining it to the point that you just can’t shake it off. Good therapy is exploring this and adapting our thoughts and or behaviour so that we break out of a downward spiral and begin to live more. Eventually you will become your own therapist and self regulate.
My name is Dennis and I am here to help with your anxiety, your depression, addiction, a loss or bereavement, or just a general feeling that life is overwhelming you at present. I can offer short term CBT as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in Training (London Met University) or Gestalt Counselling for longer term issues.
