Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem/confidence, trauma, ADHD, family issues, bereavement, stress, PTSD, addiction, abuse, domestic and sexual abuse are only some of the issues that I can help you with. Struggling with any of these issues can be exhausting and draining and at times so overwhelming that we feel dehumanised. To top it all the feeling of guilt that we are not able to cope and the expectations of others can add so much weight to our already heavy load. Why me? What have I done to deserve this? When will it all stop? What can I do to help myself? Where do I go for help?
If you are reading this you are in the right place. Therapy is a difficult but life changing way of exploring all of the above and more. My name is Zeenat and I am a Person-Centred Counsellor. I use empathy, compassion and a non-judgemental approach to therapy. I also use some CBT and Solution Focussed techniques in session.
You are best at knowing what you need in therapy and what you want to achieve. Your sessions are tailor made for your needs. No-one knows best what you are going through than yourself and therapy allows you the space to empty that heavy load on the floor and to understand them.
