About
My training is integrative. I incorporate a number of different counselling approaches. I use the person centred approach, and draw on others such as Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Counselling provides a place for difficult thoughts and feelings to be processed. It helps to bring about clarity and understanding to issues that may feel confusing. It is my desire to provide a safe space for my clients to explore, developing an understanding of how their past may have impacted their present and to make new choices that might bring change.
I am experienced working with a diverse range of people, working through many issues including: Anger management, anxiety, bereavement, depression, low self-esteem, relationships, panic attacks, stress, faith and spirituality issues. I have also completed the Ascentis Level 2 Awareness in Bereavement Care with Cruse Bereavement Service.
I understand that it can be difficult taking the first step to speak with someone about something you are experiencing. I wish to provide a confidential space for you to explore without being judged. I aim to provide a space for the mask to be removed and your authentic self can be expressed in the manner that feels comfortable for you.
