Hello, I’m Dulcie, a qualified integrative counsellor. This means that I'm trained in a range of modalities & adapt my approach to each individual I work with. At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship, creating a safe space for you to talk freely & explore whatever it is you feel you need to explore. This relationship is unique in that it allows you to be truly heard & accepted, without fear of judgement or bias. My approach is exploratory, we'll move at your pace, exploring your inner & outer world. Allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself by observing your individual patterns, processes, & emotions.
Understanding where these patterns may have come from, how they may have developed over time and how they may be influencing your present. Ultimately, empowering and equipping you to tackle the current challenges in your life and make changes to positively impact your future.
Clients describe me as kind, genuine & warm and share feeling comfortable and safe. Alongside my private practice I work as the lead counsellor for a mental health organisation. Consequently, I have experience working with a vast range backgrounds, experiences & needs. I've also previously worked with a leading cancer support charity & in suicide prevention.
