Now more than ever we are living in a world where contact with others has become increasingly difficult, not just physically but also emotionally. It would be understandable for many people to be feeling isolated and cut of from the rest of humanity at this time, for some this may also trigger painful, old wounds of unmet needs and maybe even a sense of hopelessness. You may crave feeling really connected to someone who is fully present with you and is invested in really understanding you and your situation, someone who can help you to create a relationship that will help to heal relationships that have failed in the past.

Hello, I am Carley Ayling and I’ve been working as a counsellor since my training in 2010. I provide treatment to individuals aged 14 years and above, male and female. I’ve worked with many clients with depression, anxiety, OCD, relationships difficulties, parents whose children suffer from behavioural issues, suicide and self-harm. I’ve also helped with sleep, financial and sexual assault. I offer a free initial appointment where we can exchange information to see if we are happy to work together. I can only provide sessions via Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, WhatsApp video or telephone calls in the evenings.

Dual Diagnosis Counsellors
Dual diagnosis (also called co-occurring disorders, COD) occurs when clients suffer from a mental illness while also experiencing a substance abuse problem. Diagnosing a psychiatric disorder in someone with a substance abuse issue is challenging as the drug abuse itself can often produce psychiatric symptoms. These dual diagnosis counsellors in GL5 may provide dual diagnosis programmes, dual diagnosis facilities or GL5 dual diagnosis treatment - dual diagnosis rehab may be relevant. A counsellor can help provide support or connect you to a GL5 COD network or support group.
