Hi my name is Ruth, I'm a qualified counsellor I work in private practice. People come to counselling for many reasons, struggling to make sense of the world and how they fit in it. Relationship breakdowns, addictive behaviours that are causing you a problem. You may have reached a point in your life where you feel low, no motivation and a real sadness. A recent loss or an overwhelming anxiety. Whatever it is I would like to support you and together find your own answers and maybe a new perspective. My approach is person- centred which values the importance of our therapeutic relationship, I will support you to find your own answers. I am passionate about therapy and the life changing effect it can have for individuals. I offer a safe space, I want you to feel heard and understood without feeling judged for maybe the first time in your life.
