I offer individual therapy for adults and adolescents, as well as parental counselling. I am also available for clinical supervision for psychologists and psychotherapists. I currently work as a lead psychologist for an adult health psychology service in a NHS teaching hospital. In this role I offer specialised therapy to adults and young adults with a range of psychological difficulties that include depression, anxiety, impulsivity, psycho sexual difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder, autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder.
I have studied and worked clinically with the following modalities of therapy: Psycho dynamic therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Mentalisation Based Therapy and and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I also have specialist training in the treatment of acute and historical symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Working with a psychologist can provide a safe space to process hard experiences or painful emotions. I offer clinical assessments, short-term courses of therapy and longer term therapy. My approach to therapy is dynamic and and evolves collaboratively with each individual that I work with.
