I am a Clinical Psychologist and supervisor who works with a range of psychological difficulties including depression, anxiety, social anxiety, addictions, trauma, relationship difficulties, OCD, body dysmorphia, and personality disorders. Sometimes clients may need a limited number of sessions for a specific difficulty, at other times longer-term work may be more appropriate. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgemental environment in which difficulties may be constructively understood, and appropriate strategies can be applied to address them.
I draw on significant clinical experience in the NHS and private settings to provide a nuanced approach to client difficulties. My work is primarily informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, but I also integrate ideas from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, ACT and Humanistic Psychotherapy.
I believe that a good relationship is essential for effective therapy. I strive to be compassionate, considerate and thoughtful in all of my interactions with my clients. Please feel free to get in contact should you have further questions, or should you wish to arrange a first session.
