Many couples arrive having already tried, talking more, fighting less, reading the books. Something still isn't shifting. What's usually missing isn't better communication skills. It's a way back to each other that goes deeper than technique. I work with couples where the distance has become hard to ignore, where one or both of you is wondering whether what you have can still be recovered. I also work with individuals navigating the internal version of the same terrain, disconnection, emotional numbness, the sense of being functional on the outside while something quieter has gone missing. In Edinburgh and across the UK online.
Relationships don't usually break dramatically, there's a gradual drift, less warmth, more distance.
